About the Project
This project involved cleaning an old cottage in West Yorkshire that had heavily aged stonework. Years of dirt, weathering and organic staining had darkened the façade significantly.
Work Process
-
Assessment
We inspected the stone to determine the safest method for removing long-term surface staining.
-
Preparation
All surrounding areas were protected to ensure a clean and controlled working environment.
-
Cleaning
Using low-pressure Farrow System cleaning, we carefully removed layers of dirt and contamination.
-
Finishing
The stonework was restored to a much brighter, more natural appearance while preserving its character.
Result
The cottage exterior was transformed, revealing clean, natural stone beneath decades of built-up dirt, dramatically improving the overall appearance of the property.
